In a press release, early this year, Bocada, a data protection service management solution company, announced about its Bocada Partner Program. This program features technical and sales tools that will effectively help its resellers and member service providers to increase customer satisfaction while entering new markets and reaching new customers.
Part of Bocada’s incentive strategy includes the Data Protection Service Management Model (DPSM) which its partners have service and support access to.
The Bocada Prism solution affords its partners the benefit of incentives such as: agentless architecture for rapid deployment and easy maintenance; SLA Impact analysis, policy change impact analysis, broad heterogeneous support secure web-based views providing multiple permission-based viewing levels.
Marketing tools, such as product demonstration programs, product reference material (including quick guide), and lead tracking are just some of the incentives the partner program provides for its members. “The program is an addition to Bacada’s “channel-centric sales model that has been spearheaded by the Channel Chargers, a technology channel sales and marketing Services Company.”
According to John Boyken, president of the Channel Chargers, "We have seen tremendous excitement and interest from the reseller community about the Bocada Prism solution.” He added, "They view it as a unique, timely and much needed offering in a market flooded with basic reporting products.”
Prism, described as “the first data protection services management solution built to drive users through its DPSM process,” was released January of 2009. Providing data protection to internal and external customers is a primary goal of DPSM.
