Texas company wins prestigious awards for growth and workplace environment.

The honored company, HTS Texas, is the largest independent representative of heating, ventilation and air conditioning manufacturers and is thrilled to be recognized for its efforts focused on employee incentive and loyalty programs.

One of the awards, given by the Houston Business Journal, is for being recognized as one of the city’s fastest growing organizations. The company had a 29 percent growth increase from 2007 to 2009.

Another award the company received was from the Houston Chronicle which listed HTS as one of the "Top 100 Places to Work in Houston," in the small business category.

Both these awards show that HTS is not only focusing on the bottom line, but also taking its employees into account.

In BusinessWire.com, Mike Donovan, founder of the company, explained, "I am most honored and gratified to receive recognition from our own employees, designating HTS Texas as one of the best places to work in Houston.” He added that being recognized by his employees is one of the most satisfying awards. It’s all about creating and sustaining a workplace that fosters high morale and loyalty; this in turn will enhance motivation, productivity, sales, and employee retention.

Donavan went on to say, "A company truly is only as good as the people who work there. HTS Texas has the best team in the business – we respect one another and work hard together, but we also know how to laugh and have fun day to day."

HTS Texas is ahead of the game when it comes to the fear of employee departures due to an expected improvement in the job market. It’s one company that won’t have to worry about losing top talent.
