Motivate with Incentive Travel

It should not be much of a secret that there is a strong correlation between employee motivation and incentive group travel. Several recent studies have shown that when you motivate with incentive travel, not only does motivation increase, company goals and objectives are often surpassed.

In one study, 1,000 employees who were eligible to earn travel rewards in the United States were surveyed. Unsurprisingly, the study found that a large majority of the participants preferred luxurious vacations in tropical or beach destinations. Also factoring into this, participants mentioned that traveling a long distance to reach their destination would not be an issue, especially if this destination was normally unattainable.

The more unattainable or exotic the better, but what if your budget doesn’t cover the exotic trip of a lifetime? If this is your dilemma, let it be a problem solved, and focus on a fun destination with exciting group activities, and entertainment. All-inclusives are an adjunct option in these situations.

When planning your next group travel incentive program this information can be valuable when mapping out your company’s location and activities. Try and narrow down destination options by surveying your company’s employees. These results will narrow down their preferences, allowing you to create a well-tailored incentive plan that everyone will fight to achieve.
