From April 28th through June 30th, Incentive Solutions partnered with over 50 of our clients to raise money for the CDC Foundation’s Emergency Response Fund to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
With a variety of incentive reward program options here at ISI, including gift card, re-loadable debit card, and incentive travel, this fundraiser was hosted in partnership with clients sponsoring a point reward program for redemption in an online merchandise catalog. A “COMBAT CORONAVIRUS 2020” category was added to the shopping catalog’s host of redemption options to give participants the ability to donate their reward points to the CDC.
Choosing the Charity
With so many wonderful non-profit organizations to choose from, Incentive Solutions chose the CDC foundation for their 4 star overall rating alongside a 100% accountability and transparency rating determined by professional analysts at Charity Navigator.
Donation points were used toward the following relief efforts:
- funding medical supplies
- increasing lab capacity
- deploying emergency staffing to U.S. public health agencies
- providing support to vulnerable communities
- promoting education and awareness campaigns
- boosting clinical research to improve health outcomes
- building capacity and infrastructure for global response efforts
The Donation Results
Over the two-month donation period, our team sent out two email communications surrounding this effort to program participants with a point balance of $10 or more. The results are in, and we are beyond excited to share them (drumroll, please)!
- 1,576 donations were made!
- $15,760 was donated to the CDC’s emergency fund!
This is no small chunk of change, and we could not have done it alone. We’d like to extend an extremely large “Thank You!” to our clients and program participants who donated their hard-earned reward points. It is together, through our partnerships, that we make the world a better place.
