The 24th annual Employee Benefit News Benefits Forum and Expo, presented by Employee Benefit News magazine, took place on September 26th, 2011, in Dallas Texas.
Evive Health CEO Peter Saravis headlined the event and addressed a number of the challenges business owners face while striving to motivate employee participation in corporate health and wellness programs.
According to a press release published by MarketWatch.com, Sarvais explained that most business owners have some health and wellness program in place, but can’t drive significant employee participation numbers. He added that “to achieve the kind of engagement that will lower health costs and have an impact, employers must be able to deliver targeted and highly personalized communications that engage, motivate and activate employees to take positive health actions.”
Saravis presented “Data Driven, Value-Based Personalized Health Communications,” and was joined DTE Energy program manager of health and wellness Susan Bailey. The two experts discussed the communications programs, which can be a significant supplement to an effective and engagement oriented wellness program.
The Employee Benefit News Benefits Forum and Expo is the largest event in the United States and its primary focus is on employee benefits. Topics included in the Expo include challenges and solutions, as well as industry trends. The event is a valuable tool in educating industry professionals.
