Fast Growing Egnyte Reseller Program Features Hybrid Cloud Solution Platform

Cloud security file server solutions provider Egnyte saw the need to implement a channel program and took the steps to do just that. Initiating the Egnyte Reseller Program just four months ago, the company has recently reported on its progress.

Boasting of harnessing over 500 resellers, the channel program is deemed one of the quickest growing programs in use. The 2010 Forrester Research report mentioned the importance and need for effective cloud security from technology channel partner executives; the report also noted that utilizing Software-as-a-Service or the cloud is reliant upon a protected platform.

Other advice from the report notes integration is critical for all forms of businesses that run on-premises architecture or on a hybrid cloud.

Principal of Turn 11 Networks Shawn Westerhoff said, “We have an easy sell with Egnyte.” He added that using the program to run on the company’s VMware platform, “we give our customers the benefits of the cloud combined with the performance and security of their on-premise solution, as well as the ability to keep using their existing hardware.” Westerhoff also said he finds Egnyte’s cloud solution amazing, in regard to the technical aspect of it.

Structured on layered security, the Egnyte program offers security in: networking, transmission, data protection, and data access. In addition, administrators of companies employing the incentive program are able to supervise and control all access from a central position.

There is a great demand for the Egnyte Cloud File Server, specifically for companies that must have wide-scale innovative and high-end cloud security with broad flexibility options. Creating and maintaining a steady stream of revenue while at the same time rewarding performance is another feature the Egnyte model offers its resellers.
