Velti, a mobile advertising and marketing technology service provider for media, mobile operators, advertising agencies and brands recently announced it has been selected by Vodafone UK to ring in a new generation of customer loyalty programs in the country.
The partnership will be available to roughly 6 million Vodafone customers who utilize its pay-as-you-go service.
Velti’s innovative approach to effective customer loyalty hinges on its extensive knowledge of consumer behavior, resulting in a solution that offers long-term rewards and will go a long way in building customer loyalty and creating long-lasting relationships with an ever-growing consumer base.
“Vodafone Freebee Rewardz is yet another reason why customers are choosing Vodafone on pay-as-you-go,” said Srini Gopalan, consumer director for Vodafone UK. “It’s a unique scheme as we’re giving our customers something more than just discounts and customers can take part with whatever pay-as-you-go phone they have.”
Velti’s customer loyalty offerings include refilling the account balances of pay-as-you-go customers and incorporating smartphones and the internet by texting the customer a voucher code that can be redeemed online or saved in order to build up more points for a larger purchase in the future.
Meanwhile, Toys “R” Us also announced a new customer loyalty program just in time for the Holiday shopping season. The Rewards “R” Us program is expecting to build off last year’s success when roughly 2 million customers joined and took advantage of 10 percent back on purchases made by those enrolled in the program.
“Since its introduction in 2008, our Rewards ‘R’ Us program has grown to more than 24 million members, and we continue to look for ways to reward these loyal customers with special savings and value-added opportunities all year long,” said Greg Ahearn, chief marketing officer at Toys “R” Us, U.S. “By once again offering 10 percent back on holiday purchases, and with the introduction of the 2012 Super Savers Pass, Toys ‘R’ Us is launching its biggest rewards ever for our best and most frequent shoppers this Christmas.”
